Individual components can be grouped into service groups that combine hardware, software, and networking. This makes dependencies within the IT environment visible, helps identify potential failure risks at an early stage, and supports reliable change planning. The grouping reflects the actual operating environment.

Capex and Opex can optionally be recorded for each component. This allows investment and operating costs to be allocated to the respective services and provides a reliable basis for budget planning and investment decisions.
